During the peak on Sunday, more than 28,000 power users in Victoria were experiencing outages.

Meteorological Predictions

Humid circumstances were expected to linger along large portions of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a weather pattern continued to pull in damp air against the coastal areas.

The following day was expected to become the most rainy day, with continued storm activity expected across various areas of both regions.

Safety Concern

Public health experts alerted that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the state's northern country region, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
